My photographic style blends narrative and portraiture. I document moments as they unfold, but I also take the time to compose quiet, intimate images that carry the weight of a story. What I offer is not just a set of pictures — it’s a memory that looks the way it felt.

Fine art and narrative portraits for individuals, friends, and lovers. A walk through the city, a quiet hour at home, a place that means something to you — we build the story together. I’m interested in who you are when you're not trying too hard, and in creating portraits that feel like pages from a film or a personal novel.

Narrative photography is a form of art that lies between portraiture and documentary. Here, the goal is to create an evocative and touching story without words. These photoshoots have a distinctive visual style, and I work with light and composition to create the cinematographic effect.
Slowportrait

Slowportrait is the kind of photoshoot that is solely focused on you. These photographs go beyond the actual portraiture and let you see yourself through another person's eyes, discovering your body and soul. I will act as your mirror, showing you exactly how beautiful, deep and unique you are. Please note: This type of photoshoot has a very specific visual style that can not be changed.

I do personal portraits in various styles, from a quick city shoot to a big art project with props: in every case, we decide together what to do – based on your preferences and needs. But whatever shooting format you choose, you can rest assured that you will get photos that tell your story.
Family
Photographing families means documenting something alive, unpredictable, real. I shoot everyday life, small rituals, messy mornings, slow weekends. Whether it’s an ongoing family archive, a pregnancy shoot, or just a moment you want to keep — these sessions are made to reflect the beauty of the ordinary. I also offer documentary event coverage and family portraits that don’t feel posed.
Parenthood

Parenthood is a very personal and very precious subject for me. I love to follow parents’ stories, starting from the pregnancy and witnessing their lives as they unfold together. I prefer to do such shoots in a peaceful and familiar location with nothing getting in the way, and I believe your home is the best place for this.
Couples

In a couple's photoshoot, I let the couple enjoy their time together and do my best to capture the love that appears in the interaction – and all the feelings that come with it. I might direct some of the interaction, but it will never be a staged photoshoot.
Family archive

Family photography is a way to collect and preserve warm memories and moments of everyday life. They may seem insignificant now, but in time, they will become precious: the way you interact, the small gestures, and the displays of intimacy. I will keep my distance and shoot in a narrative style, staying true to your story.
Weddings
My wedding photography is personal, intuitive, and story-based.
I focus on moments, details, gestures — the things that make your day yours. I’m particularly good at small, unconventional weddings and elopements, where the emotion sits close to the surface and the setting becomes part of the narrative. If you want someone who’ll follow the feeling instead of the checklist — I might be your person.

The yearbook
As an antropologist, I really love to do longterm projects and document changes. If you like it too, I have a special offer for you: let’s create a story together and do it in style!
The yearbook is a series of photoshoots I will do during the year (or any other period of time we agree on), keeping the whole project in mind and directing an overall narrative. The story itself could be anything — the first year of the child, the seasonal work of the winery, the year of life of your classmates or anything else that you have in mind.
This is a big project, and overall price depends on a format and the amount of photoshoots. It is possible to pay for every photoshoot separately as well as for the whole project at once.
Performing arts
I work with actors, directors, dancers, musicians, and companies who need more than just a headshot. Whether it's promotional material, rehearsal photography, backstage moments, or portraiture for editorial use — I know how to move in creative spaces. Theatre and live performance are home to me, and I bring that understanding to every shoot.
I can do a single photoshoot — or design the whole promo campaign for you. Promotion isn’t just a poster and a caption — it’s a narrative. Together with my collegues in “Zona Crepuscolare” studio we create full visual and textual campaigns that reflect the soul of the event, not just its logistics. Everything is custom-made, emotionally intelligent, and aligned with your artistic language. Because good promotion doesn’t shout. It speaks clearly, and it leaves a trace.

Theatre photoshoots are about immersion in an unfolding story that engages every person in the room. That is why I mostly shoot from behind the scenes — to convey this feeling of being immersed in a cinematic life.
Music

Stage lights or shadows – however you choose to do your show, I can accompany you, capturing the atmosphere and creating the presence effect in the photos. I will be invisible to you and the audience, and you only need to shine bright and do your thing.
Brands & Corporate
From individual portraits to narrative product photography, I help brands tell their stories with warmth and coherence. I work best with people who care about what they do — artists, entrepreneurs, craftspeople, educators — and want their audience to feel that care. Together we create visuals that are clear, human, and uniquely yours.
Brand photography

I treat a brand’s photoshoot as an art project. We start with research, ideas, and goals, and then I create a way to tell your brand’s story through pictures. As a narrative portrait photographer, I tend to focus on human interactions and recreating what you feel when you see and touch the product.
Corporate portrait

When I work with corporate portraits, I aim to communicate the brand's values through the portraits of its employees. There are many options here: a series of portraits at some location, a staged photo for a brochure, a group portrait in front of a door, an album cover for a music band, or a high school yearbook — the approach stays the same.
Gifting a photoshoot
If you want to book a photoshoot for another person, just tell me that in your letter. You can choose any genre for a gift.
You will receive printed gift certificate (or PDF with the unique code, if you prefer) with the open date, so the hero could choose the date of the photoshoot. The certificate is valid for one year from purchase date.

Choosing the date
If you would like to book a specific date for a shoot, I encourage you to email me as early as possible, especially if it is for the summer season.
Choosing the place
We can do the photoshoot in my studio or at a location we choose — in the city streets, at your home or workplace — or book a space. Studio rent is charged separately or paid by the client. The same goes for transportation outside of Florence.
Editing
I process all photos and apply colour grading + minimalist retouching. I do not change the gender, age, skin colour, clothing size or any other individual characteristics of my heroes in the photos, and I only remove temporary skin imperfections. The editing will take up to 21 days.
Receiving the photographs
Your pictures will be uploaded into a cloud drive for you to download within 3 months. If necessary, I can download your photos onto a USB drive (you can request this at the time we arrange the shoot).
